WWE will return to Saudi Arabia. the morally dubious but extremely lucrative Crown Jewel takes place on Thursday, October. 12. That’s an unusual day for a WWE pay-per-view, and the show time is even weirder: 9 am PT or noon ET. If you can tune in, you will possibly see the biggest match of the year so far: Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar.

Reigns and Lesnar have a great history, having starred in two Wrestle Manias together. They last wrestled at SummerSlam 2018, where Reigns finally defeated Lesnar and was crowned Universal Champion. However, this time it is completely different. Back then, Reigns was the best guy in progress in WWE. Now, he is a bona fide star and a heel. And then there’s Paul Heyman’s question: Who is he aligned with?

In addition to that main fight, Goldberg will return to the ring to face Bobby Lashley in a SummerSlam rematch, Big E will defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, and Edge will fight Seth Rollins inside a Hell in a Cell cage.

The company’s shows in Saudi Arabia are mixed – the crowd is often unresponsive and flat, but the match cards are often insane. Remember: Saudi Arabia paid WWE so much money that Shawn Michaels came out of retirement in 2018. Aside from previous matches, Becky Lynch will also put her SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line in a triple threat match against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

Start hours

With Crown Jewel broadcasting from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the start times will be different than normal. The program will air 9 am PT / 12 pm ET on oct. 21. That is 5pm UK time, which is a treat for people in the region who generally have to wait until midnight to get their fight fix. This time it is Australians who have it the most: Crown Jewel is broadcast on 3 in the AEDT.

How to watch: Peacock, WWE Network

As you probably already know, Peacock is the new home of WWE pay-per-view. WWE Network has essentially migrated to NBC’s Peacock streaming service, and that’s where you’ll go to watch Crown Jewel 2021. Peacock has three tiers: Free, Premium, and Premium Plus. To view WWE content, you will need a Premium subscription. The good news is that it will cost you $ 5 a month, less than the $ 10 from WWE Network.

If you are outside of the US, you will see Crown Jewel 2021 on WWE Network as usual.
