Sitti is currently in isolation with her 4-month-old baby, Osseah Lucille, who is considering close contact after she tested positive for COVID-19.
The bossa nova singer assured fans on her Instagram page today, January 15, that Osseah Lucille was showing no symptoms of COVID-19. Sitti is now in his fifth day of isolation and has been communicating with his eldest son, Issiah Dañelle, by slightly opening the door to the room where he is isolating.
“I can’t say I’m not enjoying my isolation. This is the most time I’ve spent with Lucybubs (Osseah Lucille), too, ngayon lang talaga ako tunay na nakapagpahinga (it’s only now that I really rested) since I gave birth almost 4 months ago,” she said.
Prior to this, Sitti revealed that her husband, businessman Joey Ramírez, was isolating in a bedroom of his house. He has since come out of isolation and is currently caring for his eldest son.
Sitti revealed last Thursday, January 13, that he had tested positive for COVID-19. She explained that her baby had to isolate with her as she was breastfeeding and her doctor advised her to continue doing so.
“Consulted with our [pediatrician] Doctor Steak and [obstetrician] friend Belle Goco-Raquiño. Bistek said to continue direct latching because Lucybubs needs it more than the risk of giving her the virus, while Belle said if she continued to breastfeed then Lucybubs would have to live with me because she considered na siya a close contact (she is now considered a close contact). close),” he said.
Despite her condition, Sitti is thankful that she is not isolated as she has her baby with her.
“It may be selfish of me, but I’m glad I’m not isolating myself, that I’m at least with one of my children,” she admitted. “I still pray that Lucybubs doesn’t get it.”
Sitti is also thankful that she and Ramírez did not get sick at the same time, so there would be one of them who could take care of Issiah Dañelle while the others self-isolate.
Some of the symptoms Sitti experienced were headaches, body aches and a stuffy nose.
Sitti and Ramirez married in Baguio City in 2015. They welcomed Issiah Dañelle in 2018 and Osseah Lucille in September of last year.
the singer got vaccinated against the coronavirus while she was 32 weeks pregnant with her second child. She stressed that she and Ramirez “trust the science” behind the vaccines. /ra
