Pro Kabaddi PKL 8: Maninder Singh Helps Bengal Warriors Beat Tamil Thalaivas

The Bengal Warriors defeated Tamil Thalaivas: The victory helped Bengal stop their losing streak and ended Thalaivas’ unbeaten streak. The Tamil attacked forcefully with Manjeet, which is not his usual best version, and Ajinkya Pawar used it sparingly. Bengal and coach BC Ramesh will be happy to have achieved a victory despite a lukewarm performance from their Iranian duo of Mohammad Nabibakhsh and Abozar Mighani.

The Thalaivas started off on the front foot with their defensive combination of Surjeet and Sagar taking down Maninder Singh. That set the tone for the opening minutes with Manjeet sensibly attacking at the other end. But Amit Narwal produced an impressive Super Tackle on the 5the minute to change the balance of power.
