After breaking into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland has gone on to play Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: infinity war, Avengers Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Homeand the next Spider-Man: No Way Home. That’s a lot of Spidey and it’s unclear what the future holds, but Tom Holland said Weekly entertainment you’re viewing No Way Home as the conclusion of the franchise.
We were all trying [No Way Home] like the end of a franchise, let’s say. I think if we were lucky enough to dive into these characters again, you would see a very different version. I would no longer be him Homecoming trilogy. We would give it some time and try to build something different and change the tone of the movies. Whether that happens or not, I don’t know. But we were definitely trying [No Way Home] Like it was coming to an end, and it felt like this.
As Tom Holland mentioned, even if Spider-Man continues (and you can bet he will), what comes next will set a new course away from the Homecoming trilogy. Holland added that the last days on set with Jacob Batalon and Zendaya were surprisingly emotional. “We have been making these movies for five years,Holland explained. “We have had an incredible relationship, the three of us. We have been together every step of the way. We have done every movie, every press tour. So this scene [we didn’t know] if this was the last time [we were all working together.] [It] It was heartbreaking but also very exciting because we are all moving into the next chapter of our careers. So sharing that moment with them was perhaps the best day I’ve ever had on set. I don’t think I’ve ever cried like this.”
Spider-Man: No Way Home You’ll find Peter Parker (Holland) turning to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help when he’s unmasked and can no longer separate his normal life from the high stakes of being a superhero. After a magical meddling, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it really means to be Spider-Man. Holland said that the introduction of magic allowed them to be quite inventive, joking that the fight scenes will be “much more visceral“With”much more melee combat.” Spider-Man: No Way Home I want to hit theaters in December 17, 2021.
