Last week, Aqara announced the availability of its HomeKit-enabled smart roller blind retrofit controller that allows users to control shades with one account or chain from Apple’s smart home platform.
New from HomeKit this week was the launch of the long-awaited second-generation Symfonisk lamp speaker that includes support for AirPlay 2. It finally arrived with interchangeable shades to make it more customizable for your home and can work with the smart home platform of Manzana.
In addition to the new Symfonisk speaker, we also got a nice update to the Home + 5 app that brought in new icons and other tweaks.
We then spent a good chunk of the show talking about our setup issues with the new iPhone 13, including issues with the proper pairing of our watches.
Finally, we talked about sleep tracking in your smart home and we recommend several different apps that can help you rest.
