Fantasy Football Injury updates: Latest news on Daniel Jones, Tua Tagovailoa affecting week 6 start ’em, sit’ em calls

Daniel Jones and Tua Tagovailoa will likely be “questionable” for their Week 6 games, and fantasy quarterback rankings will take a hit should they lose time. Jones has been much better than expected this year, while Tua was solid in Week 1 before being eliminated with a rib injury earlier in Week 2. At the very least, his statuses will have an impact on the leagues of two. quarterbacks / superflex. We have the latest news on your stations in our fantasy injury updates.

For the latest on spoiled RBs Christian mccaffrey, Dalvin cook, Nick chubb, Chris carson, and Damien Harris, come here; for more information on sick WRs July jones, Sterling shepard, Mike williams, and Kenny golladay, Click here. For the latest fantasy news, follow us on Twitter @ SN_Fantasy.

WEEK 6 STANDARD RATINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Daniel Jones injury update

Jones remains on concussion protocol, so he hasn’t practiced with the team this week. However, like Teddy Bridgewater last week, he has been seen throwing passes in a lateral field and is working in a limited capacity. Joe Judge said “everything is on the right track” in his recovery, and it is clear that New York believes it has a shot at this game. Again, we saw Bridgewater in a similar situation last week while on protocol, and he ended up starting for Denver and playing well late in his game against the Steelers.

That said, it is difficult to speculate on a concussion, which is why we are at the mercy of injury reports. If he plays we got Jones as ours QB13 for week 6. We’ll see if Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and / or Kenny Golladay (knee) play, but the appearance of Kadarius Toney should help Jones score easy fantasy points. Assuming all is well with his concussion, he should also have plenty of opportunities as a fighter with Saquon Barkley (ankle) out for at least a week. If Mike Glennon starts he should be seen as one of the last options to play in fantasy, but we know some people will have to start him in two-quarterback / superflex leagues.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Tua Tagovailoa injury update

Tagovailoa (ribs) reportedly pitched well on Monday and hit the driving range on Wednesday. Barring any hiccups, it looks like Tua will be donning the suit for the first time since he was hit in the ribs in Week 2. Fortunately for him, the showdown couldn’t have been much better against Jacksonville in London.

Miami has talented players who should be able to take advantage of the Jags’ humble secondary, but we will moderate expectations a bit and classify Tua as QB21 this week. If Jacoby Brissett starts, he will be ranked in a similar spot.
