The cinematographer of Spiderman: There is no way home It was none other than Oscar-winning cinematographer for James Cameron Avatar.

It turns out that the film received a new cinematographer. Seamus McGarvey was originally deputy, but has retired. Now, it seems that Mauro Fiore, cinematographer of Avatar I was behind the camera in Spider-Man: No way home. Gaffer Josh Davis, who worked on the new film, revealed the following to Litegear:

“I am currently working on the third Spider-Man installation with actor Tom Holland, cinematographer Mauro Fiore and director Jon Watts. It’s my biggest job as a gaffer yet, and wow, what a ride! Although Avatar is often criticized today by some online fans who claim that it lacks cultural resonance despite being the highest grossing film of all time, the film was praised as a technical achievement upon its release in 2009. The film sparked an interest in the industry with 3D, and a lot of that is thanks to James Cameron and Mauro Fiore’s approach to visual storytelling and cinematography.
