Will Ben Roethlisberger play Monday night?
Roethlisberger is a list of walking injuries as they are listed with pectoral, hip and right shoulder problems. Despite going into full practice on Saturday, Roethlisberger is listed as “questionable” for Monday’s game against the Bears. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters on Saturday that Roethlisberger would play, however, taking some of the mystery out of his status.
Roethlisberger hasn’t been a fantasy factor this year, and in a neutral matchup like this one, it’s not a great play. It still has two quarterback / superflex value, but there’s no need to wait for Roethlisberger or force him into your lineups in single quarterback leagues.
Overall, it’s still good news for Fantasy owners if you play Roethlisberger. He’s a better quarterback for RB Najee Harris, WR Diontae Johnson and TE Pat Freiermuth. Chase Claypool could benefit from backing Mason Rudolph, but it doesn’t look like Roethlisberger is in danger of missing this game. Thet Bears D / ST is a decent sleeping game regardless.
