Thursday Night Football Fan Duel Picks: NFL DFS Lineup Tips for Week 9 Jets-Colts Single Game Tournaments

Soccer can be a fun game. Last week, the Jets, with a backup quarterback and without their best wide receiver, defeated the Bengals, who were at the top of the AFC North. However, the Colts, and DFS players, are unlikely to overlook Gang Green on Thursday Night Football. Las Vegas sportsbooks paint a nasty picture for the Jets, but they still have some rising pieces that get us excited for our Week 9 FanDuel single-game lineup.

Here are the key scoring settings individual FanDuel players should know: Total points for “MVP” are multiplied by 1.5, but it does not cost additional money as “Captain” in DraftKings Showdown contests. The default FanDuel score is Semi point PPR other Four-point pass TD, and here they are no bonuses for 100/300 yard games like in DraftKings.

FanDuel Single Game DFS Picks: Jets vs. Polts

$ 60,000 budget, needs at least one player from each team

MVP (1.5x points): RB Jonathan Taylor, Colts ($ 16,000)

Taylor was on a roll in Week 8, converting 19 touches into 19.7 FanDuel points. The Colts opened as two-touchdown favorites for this game at some bookmakers, and they’re unlikely to be caught off guard like the Bengals did last week. If this game gets out of hand, Taylor may be relieved by others in the backfield, but the opportunity for a monstrous performance is too good to pass up.

FLEX: WR Michael Pittman Jr., Colts ($ 13,000)

Pittman dominated the goals in Week 8, posting a career-high 15, the third time this season that he has seen at least 12 looks. His target peaks, and a 24.8 percent share of the overall pie, were made possible at least in part by TY Hilton’s absence. After suffering a concussion on Sunday, Hilton will miss Thursday night’s contest, leaving Pittman to dominate in the passing game again.

FLEX: RB Michael Carter, Jets ($ 13,000)

Say goodbye to the three-headed backfield in New York. Carter has assumed the role of the Jets’ best running back, scoring double-digit FanDuel points in three consecutive weeks. He has handled 31.8 percent of offense touches, a percentage that is even higher in the past three weeks as he has handled the stone 13, 19 and 24 times in that span.

FLEX: K Michael Badgley, Colts ($ 9,500)

The Colts attempt the fourth most field goals per game (2.3) while the Jets force the most (3.0). Playing at home as big favorites, the Colts should be successful in moving the ball into enemy territory. If they cannot score their units with six, Badgley will be asked to keep the number on his side of the growing marker. It’s a solid bet to beat the 7.3 FD points he averaged in three games since he was picked up by Indianapolis.

FLEX: WR Elijah Moore, Jets ($ 8,000)

Moore had his best game as per last week, and it’s probably not a coincidence that he came with backup Mike White in center. White will start again Thursday, and the receiving body may still be without main receiver Corey Davis (hip). The Jets have started putting a bit more on Moore’s plate, deploying him as a running back in each of the past two games. It’s just two carries total, but he took one per touchdown, and it just shows more involvement on offense.
