Rent the Runway is over 10 years old and has raised over $ 500 million, recently filing for IPO at a valuation north of $ 1 billion.
Jenny Fleiss is a co-founder of Rent the Runway and sits on the boards of several notable companies, including Shutterfly, Party City, and of course Rent the Runway. She is also a partner at Volition Capital alongside Larry Cheng.
On an upcoming episode of TechCrunch Live, Fleiss and Cheng will sit down to discuss their fundraising philosophy and, for Fleiss, how her unicorn-building experience now influences investments in the early stages of startup. They will also talk about the current early stage fundraising landscape, which is almost unrecognizable from the environment in which Fleiss raised funds a decade ago.

TechCrunch Live is about helping founders build better enterprise-backed businesses. We do this by speaking with the founders and the investors who fund them to hear about how they chose each other, how they addressed challenges, and how successful founders rapidly grow their businesses.
The weekly event series also features the TechCrunch Live launch, inviting audience founders to join our virtual stage and present their products to the audience and to our expert speakers, who provide live commentary on the launches.
TechCrunch Live is 100% free to attend, but access to the massive library of TCL content on demand is reserved exclusively for TechCrunch + members.
The show happens every Wednesdays at 3 pm ET / noon PT. I see you there!
