Lot of 18 Liga MX teams began the season with the illusion of being among the best 12 positions in the general table of the Apertura 2021 and thus qualify for the Mexican soccer league in November.
A total of 17 rounds will be played during which the clubs will face each other, getting three points for each victory, one for a draw and zero points in the event of defeat. The matches and results of the day follow below:

Liga MX 2021 Apertura – General Table
The teams are classified in the general table based on the points added during the 17 dates of the season. In the event of a tie in points, the following tiebreakers will be applied in this order:
1.Better difference between goals scored and received (goal difference)
2. Greater number of goals scored
3. Greater number of goals scored as a visitor
4. Particular scores between the tied clubs
5. Best located in the general quotient table

7. Draw
The first 12 teams at the end of the season qualify for the league, which begins with a playoff round between the clubs ranked No. 5 to No. 12. The four teams that survive the single-game playoffs join the first four classified in the general table to play the quarterfinals of the league.
